Helllllo dA, long time no post... Red Moon Rising is chugging along at a pretty good pace - nearly hit 60 pages now. 
This is the first proper piece of painting I've done outside of the comic for months now. I was looking at lots of great black and white photography and realised they'd probably have some sort of camera technology in Red Moon Rising, plus it seemed like a cool style to try and paint in. It's Adrianna, about eight years before the start of the comic.
Portraiture still isn't my strong point in that there's some facial stylisations that I don't like but can't quite seem to shake entirely, but overall I think I'm getting better.

Actually, this isn't bad for a representation of a photo. The graininess, overall, is pretty good, as is the vignetting and the lens flare aberration. The clarity on the face seems a bit too sharp, but it is something that could result from a cheap or unsophisticated lens.
